World Cocktail Week Happy Hour @ Eat The Rich, Southern Efficiency and Mockingbird Hill

The events that led to the first time the cocktail was defined in print began with a letter to the editor of a Hudson, NY paper The Balance and Columbian Repository on May 6, 1806 and ended with a reply from the editor on May 13th. This period is what we affectionately refer to as World Cocktail Week.

We intend to celebrate with, well, what else: cocktails! At all three bars--Mockingbird Hill, Southern Efficiency and Eat the Rich--we'll have specials on Old Fashioned-style cocktails 5-7 PM, May 6th through May 13th. Each bar will have $7 Old Fashioneds with their own spin! At Mockingbird Hill, we'll have our famous Sherried Old Fashioned; at Southern Efficiency, we'll have a Rye Old Fashioned; and at Eat the Rich, we'll have Old Fashioneds made with any local spirit featured as part of our Locals Only Happy Hour.

Come out for World Cocktail Week and learn about the history of the cocktail, sip by sip!
