Eat the Rich is proud to host Capitoline Vermouth, a collaboration between the folks at Etto and New Columbia Distillers. After making their own vermouths since opening in 2013, Etto co-owner Peter Pastan and manager Kat Hamidi decided to begin bottling their fortified wines with some help from the team behind Green Hat Gin. Their first bottles rolled off the production line earlier this summer, and we’re very excited to feature their two vermouths as part of our Locals Only! Happy Hour. We’ll have vermouth highballs (a perfect drink for the dog days of summer), plus Hamidi will be on hand to pour samples and talk about the process that goes into making this brand new local vermouth.
