Tequila Interchange Project Benefit

  • Oyamel Cocina Mexicana 401 7th St NW Washington, DC, 20004 United States (map)

The Tequila Interchange Project is a nonprofit organization that does immensely important work in its mission to advocate for the preservation of sustainable, traditional and quality practices in the industries of agave distilled spirits. We're extremely proud to be able to support the Project in any way we can, and hope you will join us for a chance to do so this Monday afternoon at Oyamel.

First, we'll have a presentation and discussion from 2:00pm - 4:00pm aimed at spirits industry professionals covering TIP's mission and current projects, led by members Derek Brown and Phoebe Esmon of Bar Emmanuelle in Philadelphia. Following that, several guest bartenders will serve classic tequila cocktails during a happy hour open to all.

Proceeds from the happy hour will go to support the ongoing work of the Tequilla Interchange Project, a 503 (c) nonprofit. All drinks will be just $10, so come enjoy a tequila cocktail or two and help support a great cause!

Bar, restaurant and spirits industry professionals interested in attending the presentation from 2:00pm-4:00pm should RSVP to Maria Teresa at tequilainterchangeproject@gmail.com
